Britannia Fire

Britannia Fire is the UK’s last fire extinguisher manufacturer. It developed and manufactures the innovative composite fire extinguisher, the P50; using aerospace technology on the site where it’s Managing Director started making extinguishers nearly 50 years ago.

The P50 has been installed in many Universities, Lancaster, Loughborough, Newcastle, Bolton, Brighton, Bristol, Essex, Wolverhampton to name a few.

The P50 saves money as the yearly visual maintenance inspection can easily be carried out in-house, therefore negating the need for costly servicing contracts. Also due to the high fire ratings there are fewer extinguishers required, creating more savings.

The company has accreditation to the highest standards and is monitored on a regular basis by independent quality organisations.
